Global dental implant leader Dentium today
announced the successful conclusion of its ‘The NEXT in Implant Consensus,’ a
major academic symposium held on April 27th at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul.
The event served as a premier forum for discussing simple, predictable, and
digitally-driven implant treatment strategies, all centered around Dentium's
next-generation flagship product, the bright Implant.
Held under the slogan “Minimal Surgery,
Simple Prosthetics,” the consensus brought together a panel of eleven
distinguished speakers and three expert moderators from leading university
hospitals and private practices. They focused on the overarching concept of
‘Digital Minimalism,’ exploring minimally invasive surgical techniques,
streamlined digital workflows, and simplified laboratory strategies for
efficient prosthetics.
Discussions on minimally invasive surgery
highlighted how the bright Implant system enables flapless procedures
with high predictability, even in challenging narrow ridge cases. The system's
ability to achieve excellent initial stability in immediate placement scenarios
was a recurring theme, offering clinicians a reliable solution for complex
extraction socket management. A key innovation showcased was the new Pin Guide,
which was praised for its ability to facilitate incision-free surgery. By
allowing for a precise 3D assessment of bone topography without a digital
guide, the tool was cited as a significant advancement in improving both
surgical efficiency and visibility.
The forum also delved into the digital
workflow, emphasizing the industry's shift towards model-less prosthetics.
Experts detailed how integrating data from intraoral scanners and CBCT with a
'Facial Driven Design' approach leads to more accurate and aesthetic outcomes.
bright 3 layer block was also noted for its ability to simplify the
prosthetic process by producing aesthetic zirconia restorations without the
need for external staining, thus reducing clinical variability. The event
provided attendees a valuable opportunity to see case-based presentations on
how various products—including the bright™ implant, Pin Guide, bright CT—are applied in real-world clinical settings,
complemented by hands-on workshops.
Building on this success, Dentium plans to
expand ‘The NEXT in Implant’ series into a global academic platform. In the
second half of 2025, the company will host the ‘Easy Bone Graft Consensus,’ a
practical clinical education program. Furthermore, a series of customized
regional seminars will be rolled out in key global markets, including Europe,
the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
“With the bright Implant, we aim to
present a new paradigm in implant treatment—one that is simple and easy for
both the clinician and the patient,” said a Dentium spokesperson. “Based on our
‘Digital Minimalism’ concept, we are continuously developing advanced
technologies and academic programs that simplify complex procedures and enhance
both clinical efficiency and treatment stability. Dentium will continue to help
design the future of dentistry, contributing to better clinical environments
and an improved quality of life.”
