Dentium has launched ‘Collagen Graft x2D,’
a new collagen matrix for soft tissue augmentation. The new product boasts
double the density of its predecessor, Collagen Graft x1D (formerly Collagen
Graft 2), providing significantly enhanced tensile and suture strength. This
design makes it optimally suited for the handling requirements of the open
healing technique.
‘Collagen Graft x2D’ maintains its volume
after hydration with no change in thickness, ensuring exceptional dimensional
stability. This feature facilitates easier tissue fixation and suturing,
greatly enhancing procedural convenience for the clinician. At the KAOMI 2025
Summer Special Lecture on July 5th, clinical findings were presented that
highlighted the product's excellent soft tissue healing outcomes in
open-healing socket preservation cases.
According to Dentium, ‘Collagen Graft x2D’
is versatile enough for a wide range of applications, including soft tissue
augmentation, root coverage procedures, and as an alternative to connective
tissue grafts (CTG). With this launch, Dentium aims to set a new standard in
soft tissue management and will continue to expand the product's clinical
applications.
Dentium has consistently delivered
streamlined and effective bone and soft tissue augmentation solutions under its
‘Easy Bone Graft’ concept. Building on this philosophy, the company will host
the ‘Easy Bone Graft Consensus’ on November 16th at the COEX Auditorium in
Seoul. The conference will serve as a forum for discussing the standardization
of bone and soft tissue augmentation procedures.
The seminar will delve into key challenges
faced by clinicians, covering precise criteria for procedural selection,
minimally invasive approaches, and definitive application techniques for
essential clinical scenarios. The event will feature a panel of nine
distinguished speakers, including university faculty and leading private
practitioners, who will present lectures based on the latest clinical evidence.
The goal is to establish simpler, more predictable clinical protocols for
everyday practice.
Through this consensus, Dentium aims to
reinforce its role as a collaborative partner in establishing new clinical
standards, going beyond simply supplying products. A representative from
Dentium stated, "We will continue to deliver innovative products and
clinical guidance that reflect real-world clinical needs. Under our slogan,
‘Making Great Products Widely Used,’ our focus remains on providing clinicians
with simpler, more efficient treatment solutions and offering patients better
long-term outcomes."
