Dentium,
a global leader in dental solutions, announced the successful conclusion of the
‘2025 Dentium Minimalism in OSAKA’ forum, held on the 12th at HERBIS HALL in
Osaka, Japan.
Attended by over 300 dental experts, the event served as a platform to share the latest clinical trends and minimalist approaches under the theme of "Minimalism in Dentistry."The forum featured a balanced program combining academic insights with clinical experience, with sessions moderated by distinguished experts: Professor Jun Shimada (Professor Emeritus, Meikai University), Dr. Masayuki Nakamura (Director, Nakamura Dental Clinic), and Dr. Haruhiko Ono (Director, Ono Dental Clinic).
The first speaker, Dr. Keisuke Wada (i-SMILE Dental Clinic), delivered a lecture on "Minimalism in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry." He presented various clinical cases, including laser treatment for periodontitis and pigmentation improvement, demonstrating the potential of minimally invasive treatments.Following him, Dr. Hitoshi Tamaki (Nihonbashi Implant Center) highlighted the advantages of the bright Implant Tissue Level. He explained, "Dentium’s Tissue Level Implant demonstrates significant long-term success rates due to its structural stability and precise connection design, which minimize bone resorption, screw loosening, and fractures, while also lowering the incidence of peri-implant inflammation." He added, "It maintains high stability even in immediate placement scenarios."
Dr.
Sung-Min Chung (Dentium Dental Clinic) introduced Dentium’s digital solutions
and clinical applications using bright Implant, bright CT, Pin Guide, and
OSTEON under the theme of "Digital Minimalism." Dr. Chung
garnered empathy from attendees by delivering product validity and reliability
based on his professional perspective and detailed analysis as a product
developer.
Subsequently,
Dr. Jiro Machida (Vice Director, Atlas Tower Dental) stated, "Short
implants of 7mm or less show little performance difference compared to
conventional implants of 10mm or longer," noting that "They serve as
a suitable clinical alternative for patients with insufficient bone volume,
effectively reducing surgical burden."
Dr.
Jung-Chul Park (Yonsei Good Day Dental Clinic) shared the latest trends in bone
grafting and GBR. He presented the clinical efficacy of Dentium’s bone
regeneration lineup—including various applications of Easy Bone Graft, iGBR
cases utilizing OSTEON™ 3 Collagen and PDRN, as well as Collagen Graft and OSTEON™
Xeno—drawing positive responses from the audience.
Dr.
Katsuyuki Atsumi (Dental Clinic K) shared design features and clinical
application points of the SimpleLine2, pointing out the advantages and
precautions of Tissue Level Implants. Finally, Dr. Takeshi Akita (Akita Dental
Clinic) emphasized, "Periodontics and prosthetics must work in tandem like
two wheels of a cart," adding, "Accurate GBR and occlusal adjustment
of provisional prosthetics are directly linked to the long-term success of
implants."
The
forum received an enthusiastic response for moving beyond mere product
introductions to focus on actual clinical application cases and efficient usage
methods. In particular, Dentium’s concept of "Digital Minimalism" was
evaluated as aligning well with the demands of the Japanese dental market.
