Dentium Hosts “One Team in Dentistry” Seminar, Highlighting Integrated Strategies for Clinical Practice, Management, and Digital Dentistry

Dentium recently held its “One Team in Dentistry” seminar on March 21 at the Dentium Knowledge Industry Center, bringing together dentists and dental hygienists in a collaborative educational setting.

The seminar focused on practical strategies for strengthening teamwork across clinical practice and clinic management, drawing attention as an integrated educational model that moved beyond conventional role-specific training.

Rather than delivering isolated theoretical lectures, the program connected clinical, operational, and digital solutions into a unified workflow designed for immediate application in daily practice.

In particular, the seminar emphasized the importance of building a competitive dental practice through collaboration between clinicians and staff as “one team,” rather than through traditional role separation.

In the first session, Dr. Jung-Hyun Park (Boa Dental Clinic) presented a lecture titled “Surviving in Gangnam Without Marketing.”

He emphasized that sustainable clinic growth can be achieved without excessive dependence on external marketing, explaining through clinical cases how consistent treatment outcomes naturally lead to patient retention and referrals.

The lecture reinforced the idea that the core competitiveness of a dental practice ultimately lies in delivering reliable clinical results.

This was followed by a presentation from Min-Jung Kim, Director at BrainSpec and Boa Dental Clinic, who introduced data-driven patient management strategies aimed at improving communication and increasing patient return rates.

She explained how systematically accumulating patient data through electronic medical records and actively utilizing those records during consultations can enhance patient understanding and trust.

She also highlighted that consistent data management plays a key role in improving communication among staff members and elevating the overall quality of patient consultations.

As part of the seminar, Dentium also introduced its cloud-based electronic medical record platform, Dentium Link, which is currently under development as a practical tool for implementing data-driven patient management strategies.

Dentium Link is designed to operate entirely through an internet-based environment without requiring dedicated in-house servers, enabling clinicians and staff to access patient and management data both inside and outside the clinic.

The platform attracted considerable interest for features such as its insurance claim chatbot, which allows users to quickly check complex insurance criteria according to specific clinical situations, as well as its periodontal charting function,

which enables clinicians to visualize gingival conditions and compare them with previous records to facilitate both treatment and patient consultation. Dentium announced that Dentium Link is scheduled for official launch at the upcoming SIDEX exhibition.

In the third lecture, Dr. Jung-Chul Park (Yonsei Good Day Dental Clinic) presented “Premium Dental Practice Management Through Differentiation,” introducing operational strategies for large-scale dental clinics through three key concepts.

He emphasized proactive patient communication based on the Pareto Principle, the strategic use of premium products, and focused positioning through an “Only One” branding approach.

The session highlighted ways for premium dental clinics to establish differentiated competitiveness in increasingly competitive markets.

The final session, delivered by dental hygienists Min-Hye Kang and Go-Woon Jung (Yonsei Good Day Dental Clinic), explored the evolving role of dental hygienists within digital dentistry workflows.

Focusing on the integration of intraoral scanners into clinical practice, they demonstrated how digital workflows can reduce the inconvenience associated with conventional impression-taking procedures while enabling faster and more accurate treatment processes.

They also emphasized that digital equipment enhances collaboration between clinicians and staff, contributing to reduced chair time and improved patient convenience.

Overall, the seminar underscored the importance of dentists and dental hygienists sharing a unified understanding of clinic operations and building collaborative treatment systems.

Participants also showed strong interest in Dentium’s digital solutions, including bright CT and Dentium Link, with many actively discussing their potential clinical implementation.

A Dentium representative commented, “Clinical practice, clinic management, and digital solutions should not function as separate areas, but rather as a connected workflow that supports sustainable clinic growth.

Dentium will continue expanding integrated educational programs that enable both clinicians and staff to grow together.”
