Global dental leader Dentium announced the successful conclusion of its ‘2024 Jeju Festival,’ a major academic event held for Chinese dentists at the Jeju International Convention Center.

The two-day seminar, which took place on September 12-13, 2024, was attended by over 530 dental professionals from across China, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Beijing. The program, centered on the theme of ‘Simple Sinus,’ presented practical and accessible clinical methods for sinus augmentation. The curriculum, led by a renowned keynote speaker from South Korea, included a theoretical lecture on sinus implant surgery, comprehensive hands-on sessions using the DASK Simple kit for Lateral and Crestal approaches and Bicortical fixation techniques, and a dedicated lecture on managing surgical complications.

A key factor in the event's smooth execution was the pre-distribution of hands-on videos via social media. "This allowed the visiting dentists to familiarize themselves with the procedures beforehand, resulting in a highly focused and efficient training environment," a company official explained.

The event generated overwhelmingly positive feedback, with a surge of enthusiastic reviews and shared materials about the DASK Simple hands-on session and lectures on social media platforms like WeChat. The training reportedly gave the Chinese clinicians newfound confidence in their ability to implement advanced sinus procedures, empowering them to practice Dentium's core slogan of "Making Great Products Widely Used."

The event's impact extended beyond the convention center, bringing approximately 900 visitors, including staff and families, to Jeju Island. This influx, which earned a welcome reception from the Jeju Provincial Office and led to full bookings at a major local resort, underscored the high standing of Dentium's China division and the company's significant technological influence.

The successful large-scale hands-on format pioneered in Jeju served as a model for future events. This educational initiative was successfully expanded upon with an even larger event in Delhi, India, where the company hosted approximately 1,300 dentists and set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title in September 2025.
